Original Ink ID on the front cover. Dr. Rowland from Rowlandsville, VA. American Medical Library and Intelligencer. Nov. 1, 1839. This came inside a pair of Confederate, Medical Saddlebags that I purchased about 15 years ago. Book is all together with flaking and wear on the edges and spine. Dark area around top and left side of the front cover. It seems that Rowlandsville, VA must have been deserted or renamed. Cool research project.
