An unusual piece of Mourning Jewelry. The center of the brooch is a small oval with a solid back. It has a gold center with gold swirls emanating from it to the edges of the oval over the woven hair. The oval attached to a gold circle on which there are gold leaves at the compass points which in turn hold the woven hair around the outside. The hair is separated every so often with tiny gold bands. There are two acorns bangles hanging from the brooch and are also from woven hair with gold tops and bottoms. The back is a *T* fastener. As you can see from the pictures there is some minor wear and the one acorn is missing a gold band. But still a truly wonderful present for that special someone.
