C.S. Artillery - Alteration of Model 1841 Cutlass Price: US $950       Qty Required      

This started life as a model 1841 Horstmann Naval cutlass. This type of alteration was done to convert Cutlasses stored in Southern Arsenals to Artillery short swords. It is a period alteration and has never been taken apart. The blade is bright and the hilt has a nice deep brown patina. There are no rivets in the grip. There is a buff leather washer added to keep the blade tight.
