" William Tranter's Patent Made For Hyde & Goodrich New Orleans " Hyde & Goodrich dissolved their partnership shortly after the Confederate attack on Fort Sumter in 1861. The Company continued in business under the new name of Thomas, Griswold & Company. This new name was made up of the remaining partners in the firm. |
